Individual Counseling
Individual counseling takes place in a safe, trusting, and confidential environment. It is a process that facilitates personal growth and change. It involves talking and working one-on-one with your counselor to work through challenging life experiences and memories.
Together, you and your counselor will set goals and explore your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. It is beneficial because it may help you develop healthy coping skills and stress management skills.
It may help you gain a better understanding of yourself and increase your self-esteem. It may
decrease worries and fears. Overall, it may improve your well-being.

Marriage Counseling
Relationships are not only formed by the physical attraction but by a bond formed through experiencing each other. This involves getting to know each other, accepting and appreciating any differences, feeling safe to the point of sharing history and vulnerabilities thus creating trust and closeness.
The main purpose of marriage counseling is for couples to become a team and reconnect as they did when they first began this journey together. Each team member is vital for its success. It is about each person understanding one another rather than trying to change the person completely.
Everyone is different and even as you two have shared similar experience (loss, financial
changes, becoming parents, addictions, etc.,) people respond to them differently causing changes
within them to occur that at times may damage the relationship. This is where we must regroup,
develop and/or improve skills on:

- Communication
- Personality Difference
- Conflict Resolution
- Extended Family

Or help heal from the:

- Abuse
- Infidelity
- Separation/Divorce
- Loss

Trauma Reprocessing
After building a sense of safety and control, telling your story and being heard is a very important step in recovering from a traumatic experience.
Reprocessing trauma through narrative therapy helps you organize your memories, make them more manageable, and diminish painful emotions.
By sharing your story, in your own way, it empowers you to make sense of your experience and give it meaning.
